1) I'm having trouble with the display on my macbook pro. It appears to boot up ok as the keyboard backlight works and adjusting the sound makes a noise but all I get is a blank screen. I've also tried connecting to an external monitor but with no joy either. I live in Newcastle so if this is something you can diagnose and repair, then could you please contact me, I am in Newcastle.
2) since this week - "error - no batteries available". works fine with mains power. I have a 13 inch white macbook 1gb 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM - 2 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo. Its about 2 years old. No previous battery issues. always kept a proper charge. does it need a new battery or something else? newcastle guy!
3) I love my mac , and live in Sunderland but there are a couple of things i need windows for. I have a i mac running OSX 10.5 , so I know I could use bootcamp , but I've read the instructions and its looks a bit scarey. could you help with with getting a suitable version of windows and installing it on my mac. ?
4) My Newcastle iMAc 5,1 (2007) screen has been developing a series of vertical coloured lines over the past few months (about 12 now!). Is this curable and/or is it best to get a new monitor..and how much would it cost?! The Mac also seesm to be running slower than i remember but that may be a broadband issue.
5) I've an imac 2
.16 GHz inter core 2 and theinternal hard drive has failed, is this something that you can replace and what sort of costs are invoved, I would like to replace it with a 1gb drive? I am in Sunderland.
6) Good Call on the RAM issue. The 1gb ram is all good but the 512MB would only partially boot. Just ordered some new ram, another 1GB. I will still do a fresh install when it arrives. Newcastle tyne side.
7) MacBook 13" Unibody's screen and glass front was smashed. I've removed the screen and glass front and now need to replacement them both. Can you give me a cost for you to either send me the replacement screen and glass and/or a price to post it for you to carry out the repair (not I've removed the screen and glass front myself). Newcaslte area....
